Download PDFHello Boot Campers, there have been some changes made to the event schedule due to instructor medical and work issues. Hence, why we always note that the schedule is subject to change in case of instructor emergencies. We apologize for the inconvenience of possibly reworking part of your daily schedule and have worked to get the now deleted topics covered in other classes.
None of the cancelled classes carried a fee. Simply go back to the schedule and pick another class for their time slots and register for it. The class registration is now posted in the Store on the event website: www.oldschoolsurvivalbootcamp.com
If you are on a laptop you will see Class Registration as a Category on the left side bar in the shop. If you are on a mobile device, the work Category is just above the book cover of the All About Horses book for children. Click on the work Categories for them to pop up on your screen.
The Natural Fort Building for Kids and the Home Solar On A Budget classes being taught by Brittany and Justin Sandlin of Honey I’m Homestead have been cancelled. The Sandlin’s have a full journey ahead helping their son back to full health and cannot be away from him at this time. Our prayers are with them and we always enjoy having this lovely young family at Boot Camp. We will welcome them back next year.
Discussions about Home Solar on a Budget are being worked into both the Aquaponics (solar powered) and the Rocket Stove classes taught by Chuck Dailey - who has been living off grid with his wife for many years. Chuck is also always eager to discuss home solar power specifics with folks after class.
The Canning Dairy and Eggs and Homesteading Rhythms classes being taught by Jacilyn Harness of Steader Life have unfortunately been cancelled due to a work conflict that Jacilyn cannot resolve after trying diligently to do so. She will be missed and we hope she rejoins us again next year. Rebel Canner Terri Kury will be addressing the canning of dairy and eggs in her class and possibly in her keynote speech about long-term food storage, as well.
Sarah Rodriguez of Rod Ridge Farm is an avid Rebel Canner and taught the meat canning class last year. She welcomes folks to stop by her booth at the Butchering tent, to learn about the dairy and egg canning process, as well.
AlphaSixx/Suz teaches the Girlvivalists: Ladies Only Prepping Class. She is networking with Jacilyn to incorporate the basics of her Homesteading Rhythms planned instruction into this wonderful and interactive class. Suz is not just a homesteader, but also completing holistic life coach training focused on the self-reliance lifestyle. Organizing, planning, and ultimately doing, in a mentally, physically, and emotionally balanced manner to accomplish your goals without getting overwhelmed is definitely at the heart of Suz’s wheelhouse.
The Congregational Security class has not moved time, but has moved tent location.
The Effective Field Repair of Soft Goods class had daily sessions at two different times, depending upon the day. This class is now able to be held all three days at 3 pm. This class is a make and take course. If you were in a session impacted by the time switch and it conflicts with something else you are taking that you do not want to either miss or hit on another day, please contact us at oldschoolsurvivalbc@gmail.com and we will either refund or transfer your payment to another class, if desired.
